WHAT TAMTAE STORES

The text of what you write or say, the 1–5 weight you give it, any feeling directions you pick, the task title, the reflection TAMTAE returned, and the outcome you record afterwards.

If you create an account, your email address. You can use TAMTAE without one — the app signs you in anonymously so your sessions can sync and be recovered, without you handing over an identity.

Optionally, your name. It exists for one purpose: printing on a therapist report you choose to export, so a clinician seeing several people can tell reports apart. It is never required, never shown to anyone else, and you can clear it at any time in Settings.

VOICE

Speech is transcribed on your device where the device supports it. Raw audio is never uploaded and never stored — after transcription, TAMTAE keeps the text and discards the recording.

HOW A REFLECTION IS GENERATED

To produce a reflection, the text of your entry is sent to our model provider (Anthropic) and processed to create one response. It is not used to train models, and it is not retained by us for any purpose beyond storing your session so you can read it again.

This is the honest limit of TAMTAE’s privacy: your entries are encrypted in transit and at rest, but they are not end-to-end encrypted, because generating a reflection requires reading the entry. Any product that offers AI reflection and claims otherwise is misleading you.

WHAT TAMTAE NEVER DOES

No advertising, no ad identifiers, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and no selling or sharing of your entries with anyone. Your entry text is never placed in error reports, support tooling, or server logs.

Sessions are readable only by your own account. Access is enforced at the database level, per row, not merely in the app.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Purchases are handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, our billing provider. They receive a purchase identifier tied to your account so your plan can be applied. They never receive your entries.

We never see or store your payment details. Apple does.

DELETING YOUR DATA

Settings → Delete all data removes every saved session from your device and from our servers. It cannot be undone.

To delete your account entirely — the account itself and everything in it — open Settings → Account and choose Delete account. This works for guest accounts too, and it also cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage that in your Apple ID settings.

SAFETY

If an entry suggests you may be at risk of harming yourself or someone else, TAMTAE withholds the reflection and shows urgent-support resources instead. This check happens on your device and in the reflection service. It is a safeguard, not a therapeutic feature, and TAMTAE is not a crisis service.

CHILDREN

TAMTAE is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13.

CHANGES

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your entries are handled, the app will tell you before the change takes effect.
